CORK is to hold a gay Olympics finishing off with a "mince marathon", it was revealed yesterday. GucciRing Cork Gay Project's David Roche said the sporting event would be teamed with the city's gay pride parade on May 28. Mr Roche said: "Basically we have taken some of the more popular Olympics events and queered them up! "We will have the high-heeled dash, the handbag discus, and of course the mince marathon. "There will also be a football match between the men and women, and we hope to have a lot of fun!"
